WEEK 4 LESSON: October 27th, 2024
WEEK 4 LESSON: October 27, 2024
G2K: God is bigger than we could ever understand.
Memory Verse: Psalm 121:8 - “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.”
Bible Lesson: God Speaks To Job: Job 38:1–7, 34–41; Matthew 6:25–34
WEEKLY CHALLENGE: This week we talked about how God is greater than we could ever understand. God created everything in the universe, and even though He is beyond our understanding, He cares deeply for each and every one of us. When we realize that we are in the hands of our mighty God, we can stop worrying and turn our focus to Him. As we "seek first His kingdom and His righteousness," God will take care of everything else! To help further this lesson, follow the instructions below.
Instructions: For this activity, you'll need to provide your child with this printable. Have the kids fill in the train cars with pictures or words from the memory verse or the G2K (Good to Know). After coloring it in, they can cut along the dotted lines and use tape to connect the ends. Then, have them accordion-fold the train so that it can stand.
We may not always see what's ahead on the tracks of our lives, but we can train ourselves to trust in God's love and His plans for us. God is bigger than we could ever understand, and all we need to do is keep moving forward with that truth!
FAMILY TIME: Use these questions to start a conversation with your children about this week’s lesson.
